Ragina Nájera, M.D. is a Comprehensive Ophthalmologist at the Eye Institute of Southern Arizona. She earned her Medical Degree at the University of Wisconsin Medical and then completed a Residency of Ophthalmology at the Eye Institute of Medical College of Wisconsin. As an Arizona native, Dr. Nájera is proud to have joined the Eye Institute of Southern Arizona. She is committed to community outreach and educating patients of all ages about eye health and its relationship to overall physical wellbeing. Because she speaks Spanish, Dr. Nájera is also looking forward to working closely with her Spanish-speaking patients inTucson, GreenValley and from all over the Southwest.
Along with her husband, who is also a physician, Dr. Nájera enjoys raising her two small children in scenic Tucson. As a family, they enjoy biking, hiking, classical and jazz music and the occasional Scrabble tournament.
